Hi! I’m Tamar. I am a software engineer with several years of experience building iOS apps at scale at The New York Times and Tumblr. I’m passionate about writing elegant, well-tested software and designing innovative user experiences.
I’m also an writer and artist. In my free time, I run 1010, a multidisciplinary art residency.
My interest in mobile development spans from high-level product design to reading source code for compilers.
I love teaching and have presented talks and taught workshops both locally and internationally, in New York, Berlin, Mexico City, and Melbourne. My next conference talk will be in Tokyo, where I’ll be speaking about Swift and decentralized applications at the Try Swift conference.
